Position Summary

Western Motors are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistantto join their team. This role is fully in-person and will be responsible for executing essential HR administrative functions across both our Galway and Drogheda dealership locations.

The role will be based in our Drogheda location.

Core Responsibilities

  • Records Management:Coordinate the secure maintenance of all digital and physical personnel files and employee records.

  • Documentation & Compliance:Facilitate the preparation of employment contracts and onboarding documentation while maintaining strict adherence to GDPR and Irish employment legislation.

  • Talent Integration:Provide administrative support throughout the candidate onboarding cycle and track ongoing probationary periods.

  • Performance Monitoring:Support leadership teams with the scheduling, administration, and documentation of performance review cycles.

  • Operational Support:Deliver general day-to-day administrative assistance to support the broader HR function.

Candidate Requirements

  • Professional Experience:Proven background in a dedicated HR administration capacity.

  • Technical Proficiency:Strong literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Core Competencies:Exceptional organizational capabilities with a meticulous eye for detail and data accuracy.

  • Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Discretion:A proven ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential data with total professional integrity.
